Cafes in Hauz Khas and Malviya Nagar: Where to Go

The best cafes in Hauz Khas fall into three pockets: Hauz Khas Village with its lake and Deer Park views, Hauz Khas Market across Aurobindo Marg with newer coffee bars, and the quieter lanes of Gulmohar Park and Malviya Nagar a little south. This guide covers 14 cafes across those areas, with the reported cost for two and the source and date for each detail.

Hauz Khas Village is busiest in the evening, when many of its cafes turn into bars. For a calmer coffee, the Market and Malviya Nagar options are a better bet. Costs and hours change, so confirm on a live listing before you go.
