Is there a Diggin cafe in CP?

Diggin, the garden cafe this site covers, was reported to have opened a Connaught Place branch in August 2021, and one aggregator still lists it in Block A of the Inner Circle. Recent press names only the Chanakyapuri, Anand Lok and Bikaner House outlets, so the CP branch's status is unconfirmed. The Diggin outlets page tracks this, and the Chanakyapuri outlet is a short cab ride from CP.

Getting there, timing and booking

  • Metro: Rajiv Chowk, on the Blue and Yellow Lines, sits under the central park, and most of the cafes above are within a 10 minute walk of its gates.
  • Parking: CP has paid parking around the circles, and it fills up on weekend evenings. The metro is usually quicker.
  • Best time: weekday mornings and mid-afternoons are calmest. Friday and Saturday nights are busiest at the cafe-bars.
  • Booking: worth doing for The Big Chill, Farzi Cafe and United Coffee House on weekends. Tea bars and bakeries are walk-in.
Block letters run around each circle, so check whether an address is in the Inner, Middle or Outer Circle before you start walking. N Block on the Outer Circle and N Block on the Middle Circle are not next to each other.

How we picked

This is an independent guide with no paid listings. Every cafe here appears in a listing or article published or updated in 2025 or 2026, and each detail is labelled with its source. We left out places with no clear address. Hours and costs are as reported, may have changed since, and app costs can differ from your final bill once taxes and drinks are added. For other parts of the city, see the Delhi cafe guide by area.
